Will I receive a certificate with professional development hours?

Yes, a certificate and virtual badge will be issued upon completing a passing portfolio.

Are the two Lab Days held in person or are they virtual?

The two-day lab is only offered in person. Attendance is mandatory on both dates to receive certification.

There are no refunds if you are unable to attend both days. However, you will have the one-time option to transfer your registration to a new cohort within one year from your originally scheduled Cohort Start Date.

Can I resubmit my work if I receive below an 80% on my portfolio or do not pass the course?

You are allowed one additional attempt within 90 days from your original portfolio submission to improve your grade and pass. There is no fee for resubmission within 90 days.

What if I (the participant) leave the school that paid for my certification and want to continue in the program?

This would have to be worked out between the school and the staff member.

How does the program help participants become leaders in STREAM?

The program helps participants understand STREAM programming from a systems level, how to effectively and holistically integrate and assess STREAM practices, plan professional learning aligned to educators’ needs, and create vibrant professional learning communities to sustain STREAM integration.
