A common challenge expressed by educators during distance learning has been engaging their students. The Universal Design for Learning framework, developed by CAST, can be applied to increase student access to learning experiences and support intrinsic motivation. In this webinar, we will explore engagement characteristics and how they can be bolstered by the Universal Design for Learning framework to support all learners in remote, hybrid, and face-to-face classrooms. We will discuss how the Universal Design for Learning framework can be leveraged and adapted to increase students’ engagement in your classroom.
