Megan Berkowitz is the Director of Social Emotional Learning and Behavioral Health at AppleTree Institute, where she leads SEL, mental health, and behavior support for the Every Child Ready model. She manages AppleTree’s Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation program, oversees external partnerships, and advises AELPCS’s social work and counseling program. Megan previously spent seven years as a licensed clinical school social worker and began her career in federal policy at the Children’s Defense Fund, Brookings Institution, and Congressional Budget Office. She holds an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and a certificate in SEL and Character Development from Rutgers University.
