Jennifer Basilone, MA, LPC, NCC, ACS is an EMDRIA-Certified EMDR practitioner with advanced training in complex and developmental trauma, attachment, and crisis protocols, including the Recent Traumatic Event Protocol (R-TEP) and Group Traumatic Event Protocol (G-TEP). She integrates somatic techniques such as Natural Processing and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to support clients in processing both past and current events that overwhelm their ability to cope.
Jennifer currently serves as the Student Assistance Counselor at Pequannock Township High School and maintains a private practice in Passaic County, New Jersey. Over more than 20 years in education, she has served as a school counselor, Director of School Counseling Services, and Program Coordinator for the HOPE Program in Hawthorne, which supported school-avoidant students. She brings deep insight into the unique challenges faced by educators and is especially passionate about working with highly sensitive clients (HSPs) and empaths, helping them manage the intensity of their emotions while embracing their gifts.
Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Montclair State University and a Certificate in Integrative Trauma Psychotherapy from Fairfield University, along with extensive specialized training from leaders in the field including Dr. Janina Fisher, Deany Laiotis, and Dr. Phil Manfield. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey, a National Certified Counselor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor.
