Jacob Boyle - From Suicide Suvivor to CEO - How Lived Mental Health Expeirence Shaped My Future and the Future of Mental Health Technology

In this session, founder and CEO of MARCo Health, Jacob Boyle, will share his story of how he used his experience at the lowest point in his life - being put in a 13 person waitlist for a suicide crisis line during the middle of an attempt - to driving his mission at one of the world's most innovative and impactful mental health technology companies. This session will go through Jacob's personal story of struggles and building up his company to make sure that no child, student, or adult ever has to go through what he did. It will include live demonstrations of MARCo: the Mental-Health Assisting Robot Companion, and a deep dive to show how "what Jacob lived through" turns into "what MARCo pays forward" to students struggling with their mental health.
