Angela Prestifilippo oversees all outpatient behavioral health services at New Jersey’s largest hospital, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. The hospital is one of the leading providers of behavioral health care in the state and serves children as young as five, teens, adults, geriatric patients, and those with co-occurring conditions like substance use disorders.

She has focused on creating a safe, welcoming environment for all patients receiving outpatient care. Angela is known for her infectious smile and her compassion, connecting with patients and their loved ones. She is also an incredible resource for her colleagues, mentoring newer behavioral health professionals and supporting their work. She also teaches the next generation of mental health professionals at New Jersey City University.
Her counseling specialties include dual diagnosis, grief and loss, relationship Issues, self-esteem, stress management, children and families, and crisis management.
